Associate Membership Examination of  Aeronautical Society of India

The Aeronautical Society of India conducts Associate Membership Examination, A pass in Section A & B of this examination has been recognised by Ministry of Education, New Delhi at par with a Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineering from an Indian University.
Candidates who have passed section A & B of the Society's examination are eligible to appear in GATE for post graduate studies at IIT's.
The Engineering Council of Examination,
London, has also permitted those who have passed this examination to appear directly for part-2 of their examination for higher studies.

AICTE has also reviewed the Syllabus and their recommendations have been incorporated. Ministry of human resource Development, Govt. of India has accorded its approval to this syllabus vide their letter F.24-4/2002-TS-III dated 31 Dec 04

About Aeronautical Society of India

The Aeronautical Society of India was established in 1948 under the Societies Registration Act.XXI of 1860 with the patronage of Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru who became the first Patron-in Chief of the Society. The Society was formally inaugurated by Pandit Nehru at the Puttana Chetty Town Hall, Bangalore on 17th December 1948.

Eligibility

The minimum qualification for admission to this course is 10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) with minimum 50% or more marks in each subject of PCM.

Completion Certificate

The Aeronautical Society of India issues completion certificate along with mark sheets to successful candidates who complete section A & B.
